Our Story
Roppel Industries was founded in 1947 by brothers Virgil and John Roppel, both of whom had recently returned from active duty in World War II. Fueled by their strong work ethic and commitment to building a better future, the brothers began the business as a two-man radiator repair facility in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. From these humble beginnings, their dedication to superior customer service and high-quality craftsmanship set the foundation for the company's enduring success.
Through hard work and innovation, the business quickly grew beyond its original scope. Over the decades, Roppel Industries evolved into a multi-state operation that now includes 4 radiator repair shops, a nationwide warranty program, and a service center, supported by 13 warehouse distribution centers strategically located across Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia, West Virginia, Indiana, and Texas.
What began as a small operation has grown into a leading provider of engine cooling solutions, offering heavy-duty radiators, charge air coolers, condensers, emission parts, and custom repair services. Roppel Industries continues to build on the legacy of its founders, staying true to its core values; Family, Credibility, Evolve & Adapt, Exceed Expectations.
Today, with over 75 years of experience, Roppel Industries proudly carries forward its mission to “Make America Run!” by supporting industries critical to the nation’s infrastructure and economy.
